My painting grows out of automatic drawing, scaled up to large formats so that the gesture can unfold with full intensity. I work directly on canvases laid out on the floor—sitting on them, kneeling, walking across them—allowing the body to lead the line faster than thought. The physicality of the process is essential: movement, pressure, weight, and breath become part of the composition. These works function as enlarged traces of impulses, eruptions, and vibrations, and the act of painting itself becomes a way of releasing tension—a physical, emotional, and intuitive form of letting go.
